From an early age, art has been a pleasing outlet for Ron Mechling. He was recognized for his abilities at an early age by having his drawings travel in several shows.

Throughout early childhood and adulthood, Ron has successfully experimented with a number of different mediums in creating two- and three-dimensional images. His formal education in art culminated in a Fine Arts degree from the University of South Carolina with an emphasis in studio art and a minor in journalism. This experience served to expand Ron's knowledge of the art world as well as allowing him to experiment in many new and different mediums. At that time he created many pieces of sculpture and acrylic paintings.
